About Becoming
The studio takes its name from the belief that nothing in life is fixed—that we are continually growing, learning, and reshaping ourselves. Our work embraces that same sense of evolution, creating interiors that are fluid, thoughtful, and responsive to how people truly live. Each space is designed to reflect who you are now while allowing room for who you’re still becoming.
Collaboration is central to our process. We approach every project as a conversation—listening to the architecture, to our clients, and to the subtle details that give a place its character. The result is work that feels grounded yet expressive, merging craftsmanship, culture, and material richness into environments meant to be both lived in and endured over time.
About Sara
My path as a designer has been shaped by more than a decade of experience across projects in New York, Aspen, and abroad. A graduate of Pratt Institute, my education instilled in me a deep respect for both conceptual thinking and the tactile qualities of design—principles that continue to guide my practice today.
At Becoming Design, collaboration lies at the heart of the work. Whether with clients, trades, or fellow creatives, I believe the most resonant spaces emerge from dialogue—when every voice, texture, and detail is considered as part of a larger story. My experience spans private residences, hospitality, and cultural environments, many of which have been featured in Elle Decor, Luxe, and Interior Design Magazine. But beyond recognition, what fulfills me most is witnessing the subtle shift that happens when a space begins to feel truly one’s own—a quiet, lasting transformation that speaks to a life well-lived.
